Being a farmers daughter .. I was raised around quite a variety of animals. I grew up ... finally married the perfect man and we raised five children ... now we are on the wonderful part of being grandparents. During the childrens younger years ... we raised just about everything with eyes and a mouth .. from tarantula's to snakes, birds, lizards, dogs, cats, *of course* baby bunnies, squirrels and even a baby bat. Now we are owned by four dogs .. two cats ... a abused bird who was rescued, and three beautiful squirrels. We have ducks and birds and squirrels around our house all the time, *I feed them daily and make sure they have water and with the squirrels ... they get nuts, peanut butter, and corn, and course any sunflower seeds they manage to wrestle from the birds :) * Im hoping this site is a friendly, safe place that folks enjoy coming to and that we help and never hurt one another.
